The SFSL started its journey in the year 1968 with variety of Alloy and Special Steels Forgings and Rolled Products. Initially it played an important role in Import Substitution. Subsequently it specialized in production of high value and higher grades Tool & Die Steels in special sizes in Forged and Rolled condition creating a niche market for its products with the help of modern and latest technology. SFSL now Produce & Market Rolled & Forged Products of Tool / Die, Die Block, Stainless (400 Series) and Special Grades of Steels like:

a)    KNL, D2, D3, D6 and many other grades.

b)    H11, H12, H13, A2, A8, S1, S2 and many other grades.

c)    Knife Steel.

d)    Special Grades  equivalent to  K300, K350, K600, WP7V etc

e)    AISI- 410, 420, 430, 431, 20CR13,  etc.

f)     DB-6,  DIN 1.2714 etc.

g)    Any other Special Grade Made To Order.

h)    Alloy Steels of different Grades.
